The Bible is not a scattered bunch of sayings, written at random by both somebodies and nobodies. It is the most carefully documented book of all. Second Timothy 3:16 NIV tells us: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

God inspired people by His Holy Spirit as He used their abilities and talents to write down precisely what He wants us to know and how we can know Him. By knowing and seeing Jesus in the Bible, we can see what the Father is like and can know God better for ourselves today.
